The #ispomunich, Europe’s largest sports expo, was an inspiring experience from start to finish! MY HIGHLIGHTS: The interviews with legends like Andre Agassi Mischa Zverev Alexander Zverev (tennis jackpot for this fanatic!), and Jonas Deichmann left me inspired to push boundaries and think big. THE 4 THEMES that are still keeping my 🧠 busy: 📍 Authenticity Athletes as storytellers resonate deeply with audiences. Consumers are moving beyond polished branding, craving genuine human narratives. Patagonia leading the way with purpose-driven initiatives like their radical ownership model: “The Earth is our only shareholder” — a bold reminder that brands with authentic purpose create loyalty that lasts. 📍 Hyper-Personalization Generative AI and data insights are enabling brands to create tailored experiences like never before. From goldengoose shoes designed in co-creation to Starbucks “live the brand”philosophy, today’s consumers expect personalization. Platforms like GUURU Solutions enable real users to give live advice online, bringing human connection to e-commerce. 📍 Community Brands like JACK WOLFSKIN use live feedback from members, while Houdini Sportswear connects deeply through events like their mountain festivals.     This week I had the great pleasure of entering the stage at ISPO in Munich together with the wonderful Jutta Stienen from our partner GUURU Solutions. I had the chance to talk about my own passion as well as the DNA of JACK WOLFSKIN. Advice from peers out of your own community, who share the same passion as you, is becoming more and more valuable and important for purchasing decisions. In an increasingly digital world, it is a challenge to transfer the added value of offline communities and these peer-to-peer exchanges to the online world. This year, we did just that and, together with GUURU Solutions, we brought our online community to life, offering our online shoppers the great added value of being supported by real and authentic outdoor experts while shopping on our website. It was a great pleasure for me to share our experiences and insights from this journey with a great audience. Thanks again to ISPO and the entire GUURU team for this opportunity and for having me.
