On December 14, the #EuroChem #UAE team participated in the 2024 Abu Dhabi Marathon for the third time. Andrey Savenkov finished the marathon at an impressive distance of 42.195 km with a time of 3:27:50, and Evgeniy Shmelev completed 10 km in 52:43. On this #WorldTeaDay, we’re reflecting on a historic breakthrough in #tea cultivation! Between 2017 and 2019, at Georgia’s Tea and Subtropical Cultures Research Institute, extensive research unveiled the optimal nutrition system for tea. Using #EuroChem's Avrora #fertilizers (16-16-16 and 14-14-23), Urea, and CAN, we achieved a remarkable 40-70% increase in tea leaf yields—enhancing key quality attributes such as #caffeine, phenolic compounds, free amino acids, and theanine content. Recently, we shared the incredible stories of our colleagues participating in the Antwerp Marathon, showcasing their passion for endurance running. Now, we're thrilled to share an even more epic feat! This year, Tijl, one of our Antwerp-based colleagues, conquered the TDS Mont Blanc: 148 km with a staggering 9,300 meters of elevation gain. This ultramarathon, renowned for its difficulty, saw Tijl finish in 42 hours, taking only two 15-minute breaks and placing him in the top half of nearly 2,000 participants. The race pushed him to his limits, with every obstacle testing his resilience. Battling nighttime hallucinations became the ultimate trial of grit and determination.
