    The Accuracy of Google Analytics 4: Insights from 33 Accounts There has been a lot of discussion over why there is a sudden drop in performance from Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and why there are so many discrepancies in data reported by other tools compared to GA4. So, how (in)accurate is GA4 actually? Recently, Andy Crestodina from Orbit Media Studios published a really insightful article about what he sees when comparing GA4 data to other sources across 33 accounts. The article reveals many reasons why GA4 underreports traffic and conversions, such as ad blockers, do not allow cookies (through a consent banner), browser privacy settings (including incognito mode), cookies disabled at the browser level, and firewall restrictions within corporate networks. The analysis found that 20.3% of conversion data is missing from websites with cookie consent banners, and 55.6% of traffic data is missing when users were shown the consent banner. As privacy laws continue to evolve, it's crucial for businesses to understand the limitations of GA4 and explore alternative solutions for accurate conversion tracking and attribution. We helped Rémy Martin commemorate its 300th anniversary by inviting customers to step aboard an airship to be transported back to the iconic brands origins. This unique experience immersed cognac enthusiasts on an interactive journey through Rémy Martin’s heritage, featuring the exclusive 300th-anniversary Cognacs Fine Champagne.   In partnership with our sister media agency, comtogether, we have crafted an O2O strategy to seamlessly guide the audience from paid media to our campaign site for event registration.
