    In earlier times, men were considered to be the breadwinners of the family. Female involvement was kept at a minimum in decision-making, and the focus on their empowerment was never a priority. Out of the total population, more than 50% consists of women, and imagine if we empower them and give them the opportunity to truly flourish, what the society as a whole can achieve. Women are already powerful, our society just needs to give them equal opportunity. Growing up in a military household I have seen my mother work and support my father to see that her children avail themselves the best opportunities in education and at the same time manage the home as well! Her life to me is truly inspiring. The initiatives Interloop has taken for women empowerment are truly inspirational. I feel proud to be a part of the organization where the belief system is so strong and the understanding is so clear of what kind of dividends women improvement would pay in the future. How Interloop is contributing to their skill development, trainings, work opportunities, sports and even offering daycare for mothers with young children (which is done only in a few MNCs working in Pakistan), is setting new standards which of course would help the business but moreover, build strong and healthy future generations.

I love the people-centric and accommodating approach of the management, which is reflected in the company policies. Interloop’s Re-Connect program gave me the opportunity to join back and continue my professional life after a break of three years as I was taking care of my children and family.
