Williamson County Public Defender's Office is hiring a legal secretary.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, a self-starter, organized, capable of working independently, and able to maintain strict client confidentiality.
The office is fast paced and has a large caseload.
Responsibilities include: * Maintaining files (filing documents, updating client contact information, tracking court dates and appointments.
* Telephone communication (answering calls, taking accurate messages, returning calls) * Maintaining attorney calendar * Document preparation (notices, motions, entry of appearance, etc.
) * Filing documents with the Circuit Clerk * Organizing files for court Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30,940.
