Regulatory Framework for Stablecoins: Establish clear guidelines for fiat-backed stablecoins to enhance payment efficiency and align with global best practices. 2. Support for Blockchain Startups: Implement a comprehensive strategy to support blockchain and Web3 startups, promote financial innovation, and strengthen Canada’s blockchain ecosystem. 3. Crypto Assets in Savings Plans: Allow crypto assets and crypto-backed assets as investments in registered savings plans to provide Canadians with more options and maintain Canada’s edge in financial innovation. 4. Custody in Digital Asset Policy: Prioritize custody in digital asset policy and develop a harmonized regulatory framework to bolster the domestic custodian ecosystem.
