I think Business Process Transformation* is the future of innovation. It’s early days, but the vision seems clear to me: it’s about using the power of all these amazing new technologies to provide more proactive, automated innovation. In a world where we have : (1) sophisticated AI-enabled systems tracking and benchmarking our business processes (2) the ability to compare them to constantly-updated industry-specific best practices (3) the ability, in a cloud world, to automate updates and changes to system landscapes Then innovation can become an optimizable business process itself — no longer a painful series of manual steps up a staircase, but more like an elevator ride to the future… What do you think?! Not too long ago, all of us at Team Kannanware watched the blockbuster movie Manjummel Boys as part of the team outing program. We'd heard a lot of good things about the movie. In an interview, SAP CEO Christian Klein reassured customers about SAP’s cloud strategy and discussed using gen AI as a migration accelerant. “All business models, across all industries, and especially in Germany, are undergoing fundamental changes,” Klein said. “That’s why I advise against simply replicating old processes into the new software world, or just hosting the ERP upgrade. It’s about more essential topics such as process standardization and the definition of new business models. And above all, it’s about making these innovations, which ultimately keep companies competitive and productive — or sustainable, accessible and usable.”  #sap #cloud
