Amendments to cannabis regulations proposed by Health Canada "New changes to Canada’s cannabis regulations have been proposed by Health Canada and are subject to consultation and request for comments until July 8, 2024.[1] The amendments come amidst calls from industry and stakeholders to reduce the regulatory administrative burden associated with their participation in the cannabis market. Have you as a CEO ever had to call out another CEO and their organization for supporting a culture that embraces corporate bullying? If so I would be interested in hearing how you have lead through this. Why? Well unfortunately Salus is in that position -I tried to have a reasonable conversation with Intact Insurance. (16 month long conversation ) and feel I have exhausted all avenues. Their response - behaviour that is both bullying and acting jn bad faith. Now we are standing up to this corporate bully - Intact Insurance and taking them to court. We have paid our premiums to Intact for a $40 million replacement cost policy. They paid us $3.2 million to reconstruct Athlone (water damage) but our independent contractors,architects and engineers say the cost is $7.5 million to restore the building to its original and meet code. As CEO of a not for profit that supports some of the most marginalized persons in our community my first priority is to get the building up and running so we can welcome 40 individuals from the shelters to our supportive housing program. Salus has filed our building plans to start reconstruction. We are now trying to determine how we finance $4.3 million. A unnecessary burden for a not for profit if Intact Insurance would honor their obligations. See below for the news release. #IntactInsurance #corporatebully

🌧️With heavy rain on the way in Montreal, here are some quick tips to stay dry (or at least try!) 1. Check your home for leaks and clear gutters (because indoor swimming pools aren’t in style). 2.
