I'm honored to have presented today on behalf of SolGold Plc at RBC's "Sparks Flying: RBC Copper Developer Summit", alongside industry leaders representing some of the world's most promising copper projects.🌎⛏🔋 This gathering brought together an impressive (estimated by one speaker) 70% of the world's undeveloped copper resources (not currently held by majors), with a mix of majors and institutional investors in attendance. The discussion was enlightening as each group shared their current challenges and perspectives on the future of copper development. Key takeaways shaping the copper industry's Tier 1 asset development trajectories: 1️⃣ Access to capital is crucial: In an era of increasing demand for copper, securing funding for these capital intensive development projects remains a pivotal challenge. Investors are keenly aware of the economic potential, but projects must demonstrate clear value propositions and be sufficiently de-risked to attract the necessary capital investment. 2️⃣ Social license: Managing community relationships and environmental impact is no longer optional—it's paramount. Projects that excel in this area are positioning themselves as leaders in sustainable resource development, making themselves more attractive for further investment. 3️⃣ Regulatory de-risking: Obtaining necessary permits is emerging as a key value unlock. Projects that navigate this process effectively are becoming increasingly attractive to major players looking to expand their portfolios. 4️⃣ Macro trends point to opportunity: With exploration spending at suboptimal levels and a "dearth of new discoveries", the stage is set for higher copper prices. This economic incentive is likely to drive increased investment from majors into de-risked projects, potentially accelerating the path from exploration to production. The consensus among attendees? Many of the presenting projects that successfully de-risk their assets are prime candidates to become the mines of tomorrow. Of course, we believe SolGold Plc's Cascabel Project is exceptionally well-positioned in the industry to capitalize on these themes. An important pathway to reduce emissions from the #steel industry is to transition from traditional blast furnaces using coal to electric arc furnaces using green #hydrogen. But these new technologies require higher iron ore grades. As the transition accelerates, demand for high purity iron ore is set to increase, which raises the following question: where will this iron come from? We are lucky in #Canada to have an abundance of high purity iron ore in the Labrador Trough, a geologic formation that stretches from Ungava Bay all the way to #LabradorCity, where Rio Tinto IOC employs over 2,100 people. Yesterday, Minister Jonathan Wilkinson announced Canada was adding high purity iron ore to its list of #criticalminerals. This is an important step towards increasing Canada's exports, boosting local economies in Quebec and Labrador, and making the global steel industry more #sustainable.

Since June 2023, the i,scientist program was successfully deployed across Canada, reaching, high, middle and elementary school teachers and inspiring young minds. CIM | Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum Impact Highlights: 1- NWT Indigenous schools including principals,teachers and students from high and middle schools.
