Canada’s food system is evolving as consumers seek sustainable and affordable food products. Innovators in ingredient manufacturing and food processing are rising to the challenge, strengthening innovation and adding value to the food supply chain. Protein Industries Canada announced a new project focused on optimizing and utilizing pea and fava protein ingredients. Partners Lovingly Made Flour Mills, TMRW Foods, and Dutton Farms will collaborate to enhance Canadian pea and fava crops, creating a value-chain feedback loop that meets the needs of food processors, manufacturers, and consumers.
