Alberta, we’ve got a victory, even if the Oilers can’t get one, with the shutdown of the “U Can Pollute’s” War Room set up by Jason Kenney. The War Room was a glaring symbol of the UCP which adds no value, was immune to FOIP requests, was involved in a number of scandals, such as theft of logos & impersonating journalists. The War Room propaganda machine was run by an unsuccessful UCP candidate, and there were no targets and no accountability. Basically, it was a way for the UCP to declare war on our fellow Canadians while wasting money on friends and insiders. The War Room generated a number of controversies in its first 2 years, including widespread criticism & jokes about its 2021 campaign against a children’s cartoon about a mythical bigfoot family on Netflix. The CEC, i.e., War Room also had to pull & replace its logo days after its launch, after learning that it was already being used by another company. As the Energy Critic in the Opposition, Kathleen Ganley advocated consistently to have it shut down. On our behalf she grilled the UCP minister on the complete lack of transparency or value at estimates. And, as a leadership candidate, she also vowed to shut the War Room down & use the money for educational assistants. Many others of course, have pursued the closure of the War Room as well, since its inception. Today we’ve been rewarded as have all Albertan’s & Canadians. We can finally see an end to this complete waste of money. Let us hope that the UCP follows Ganley’s suggestions further & puts the money into healthcare or education, where it could actually help us all, not just oil, gas & coal industry billionaires & millionaires, Eh? But this isn’t enough. To fully end the UCP’s attempts to coal mine our mountains or give away billions to profitable corporations to clean up their own messes, we must change governments in 2027. The Alberta government has shut down a so-called “war room” it set up to target environmentalists, journalists and anyone else it believed was spreading “misinformation and lies” about Canadian energy. 
Officially called the Canadian Energy Centre Ltd., it was set up in 2019 as a private corporation rather than a Crown agency – a deliberate tactic by the United Conservative Party government to shield it from access to information laws, despite being funded entirely by Alberta taxpayers. The mandate of the multimillion-dollar agency has now been rolled into Alberta’s Intergovernmental Relations Ministry. 
Armed with an initial $30-million-a-year budget, the energy war room fulfilled a promise made by former Alberta premier Jason Kenney in the 2019 election. 
Alberta’s Energy Ministry said in an e-mail Tuesday that the CEC remains an “important advocate” for Canadian energy sector, and its work to increase public understanding of the role oil and gas plays globally in a secure energy future would continue.

June 16th, 2024 marks the end of coal-fired electricity generation in Alberta, a province that as recently as 2001 got 80% of its electricity from coal. The coal phase-out represents the largest greenhouse gas emissions reduction in Canadian history, with emissions from electricity generation in Alberta declining by 53% between 2005 and 2020, partly due to the phasing out of coal and the rise of renewable energy. While this is a significant day for climate action, there is a mixed backstory from Alberta. The province replaced much of the coal with natural gas, which produces 60% of the emissions of coal, and recently slammed the breaks on its booming renewable energy industry. 🇨🇦 ⛏️ Noble Mineral Exploration (TSX-V: NOB) Initiates Temporarily Delayed Drill Program in proximity to the Location of a 140 kg, Mineralized Boulder Found near Hearst, Ontario. Extreme hot, dry weather in mid June gave way to thunderstorms and in some cases tornadoes. Noble was concerned with potential forest fire risk and the health and welfare of their workers. With the coming of more stable weather in July, the company is now ready to start the drill program. The drill program is planned on 214 claims in Way Township. The claims extend from about 4 to 15 km southwest of the town of Hearst, Ontario. Trying to find ways to help young people afford a first home by stealing more money from the wealthy, who have made smart life and business decisions, is not the solution to the problem. You have to figure out what the cause of that problem is in the first place. Unfortunately for Trudeau, that problem is mainly him and the current state of the federal “Liberal” government. 1. A little (big) thing called inflation caused by poor spending habits, leading to printing money and increased dept servicing. This causes the need for an increase in minimum wages because the low income cannot afford to eat. Which causes an increase in inflation. And let’s not forget about the Carbon tax that has no actual benefits, which again is going to cause an increase in inflation. As you can see, it’s a snowball effect. 2. The massive housing demand due to the huge influx of immigrants over the past few years. 3. Lack of financial education. To my third point, as a 25 year old who is pretty fresh out of the modern-day school system, I know for a fact that there is little to nothing being taught in secondary education with respect to finances. Starting at the elementary school level, kids should know the importance of money in this world. They should know what taxes are. They should know what interest is. It’s not that complicated to understand, it just has to be taught. Understanding the importance of finances will help youth make smart career choices such as a career in STEM or trades, opposed to doing a degree that they cannot get a job from, or worse - no post-secondary education at all. In return, that will allow them to afford that first house.

The Bank of Canada has estimated that the carbon tax will only increase inflation by 0.15 per cent overall. 80 percent of people get back more that they pay out in REBATES. The researchers found that the carbon pricing applied to big industrial polluters will cut between 53 million and 90 million tonnes by 2030, while the pricing on consumers will cut between 19 million and 22 million tonnes. The carbon tax reduced the use of gasoline and natural gas by seven per cent per person. There's even evidence that it spurred people to buy more fuel-efficient cars. In addition, The cost of not doing anything about Global warming is going to be very expensive. Extreme weather events could disrupt agricultural productivity in the future. The strain that rising global temperatures could have on on the agriculture industry and inflation around the world will likely cause food prices to increase even more, according to new research.

Liberal and NDP solution would be more bureacrats, more committees and many more meetings and business trips to determine how many bureacrats wiuld be needed to supervise the excess of bureacrats we now have that are currently standing in the way of progress. I found this video and its very interesting history of the politics around the oil sands and pipelines. The NDP-Liberals have made life easier for violent criminals by repealing mandatory minimum sentences for gun crimes and making it easier to get bail. It’s no wonder violent gun crime is up 116% under Justin Trudeau. The NDP-Liberals are simply not worth the crime or chaos.

Justin's plan will cost Canadians 6 billion dollars , 1.6 on PST savings, the checks will cost another 4 BILLION with a B...,then the cost for ads , and government workers to send the love our way lol...it could cost 6.5 Billion after the smoke clears. Theirs a 40 BILLION DOLLAR DEFICIT...and they are ballooning PAST that simply for a political gimmick....and buying votes and popularity, using TAXPAYERS money,.... simply can't work. Do Canadian's need help ?..yes , but not by creating HUGE costs for later...one is just pushing the devil down the road for our kids. One has to RE-PROGRAM, retail tills throughout Canada, and that cost is offset to the store owner....OF COURSE , they will try to recover their costs...think I'm wrong ?....I'll bet you my winning Lotto ticket I got today...if I'm wrong you could win 75 mill off my ticket I lost to you ,...or you could get a free play lol...the odds are in my favor in me winning the debate.... According to the Trudeau government’s plan, Canada will reduce greenhouse gas emissions to “net-zero” by 2050, largely by “phasing out unabated fossil fuels.” But given current technologies, virtually all fossil fuels are “unabated”—that is, they generate greenhouse gases when burned. So basically, the plan is to phase-out fossil fuel use, use wind and solar power to power our lives, and transition to electric vehicles. But this plan is simply not feasible. In a recent study, Vaclav Smil, professor emeritus at the University of Manitoba, spotlights some uncomfortable realities. Since the Kyoto Protocol was enacted in 1997, essentially setting the world on the path to net-zero, global fossil fuel consumption has surged by 55 per cent. And the share of fossil fuels in global energy consumption has barely decreased from 86 per cent to 82 per cent. In other words, writes Smil, “by 2023, after a quarter century of targeted energy transition, there has been no absolute global decarbonization of energy supply. Just the opposite.
