I can't believe it's already time to reflect on my first 90 days at Varicent. We had our annual holiday party here in Toronto last night, and I was finally able to meet a bunch of people I've been zooming with for months. The marketing team is full of talent, and I'm blessed to have been given the opportunity to learn from people like Bill Hobbib, Sarah Van Caster, and Christine Matla. So what have I been up to over the last three months? 1. GTM Strategy and Execution - collaborating with a world-class cross-functional team to help reshape Varicent's GTM lifecycle, positioning, and messaging for their Sales Planning solution. Urooj Fatima Trevor Dunham Christine D'Angela Hunter James Sales Planning transformation is ascending and I'm grateful to be a part of it. 2. Sales Planning Gen AI Assistant launch - It takes teamwork to make the dream work. Urooj Fatima Jacklyn Lane it felt like "everything everywhere all at once" for a bit but we made it happen. 3. Next-level Analyst Relations - it's been great to see how the entire product marketing team comes together in a continuous cycle to "represent". James Mulligan Sarah Van Caster Jacklyn Lane what a great team I have to work with! Week 1 at SlapFive: Customer Marketing 🚀 It has been an incredible start getting back into the world of #customermarketing with such a talented team. A lot has changed since I left the industry last spring, but it feels great to return to a market I deeply care about.
