MD INTERVIEW | Corazon Mining expands Manitoba landholding on acquisition of high-grade deposits Corazon Mining Ltd (ASX:CZN, OTC:CRZNF) managing director Brett Smith joins Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio to discuss an agreement to expand its landholding in Manitoba, Canada, by acquiring three drill-defined zinc-copper-gold deposits near its flagship Lynn Lake nickel-copper-cobalt sulphide project. This strategic acquisition increases Corazon’s portfolio within the Lynn Lake region to seven zinc-copper-gold deposits and enhances the potential for Lynn Lake to become a regional polymetallic processing hub, focusing on critical minerals like zinc and copper. The MacBride deposit, the highlight of this acquisition, features significant historically published metal endowment with continuity from the surface to approximately 300 metres. Drilling results include 10.7 metres at 9.98% zinc and 0.56% copper from 32.9 metres and 4.9 metres at 9.86% zinc and 0.20% copper from 119.8 metres. The Wellmet Prospect shows numerous surface copper occurrences and electromagnetic conductors. Notable drill results include 4.2 metres at 6.20% zinc and 0.91% copper from 36.1 metres. The Barrington Prospect has shown copper mineralisation in sparse exploration drilling. Corazon’s strategy includes potentially restarting mining at Lynn Lake with a focus on low operational costs and leveraging high-grade zinc-copper deposits. Historical mining in the Lynn Lake region dates back to the 1940s, focusing on nickel sulphide, volcanogenic zinc-copper-gold massive sulphide and orogenic gold. Corazon will acquire the mineral tenure for C$153,600 (~A$168,000) with the vendor, PC Dunlop, retaining a 2% net smelter royalty. Corazon retains the right to purchase up to 1% of this royalty. Initial due diligence of the project areas has been completed.

More than proud of the team at Fraser Mine, part of our Sudbury INO, for earning the right to call itself, “The Safest Mine in Canada.” Incredibly, this is the fifth year in a row a Glencore operation has earned this title as Nickel Rim South Mine, also part of Sudbury INO, as well as Raglan Mine and Matagami Mine, have all earned this title in recent history. Making the acknowledgment even sweeter is the fact that Nickel Rim South Mine and Raglan Mine earned the same distinction at a regional level for the provinces of Ontario and Quebec, respectively. I’ve deliberately used the term ‘earned’ to describe these feats. Running a safe mining operation, let alone the safest mining operation in jurisdictions with a deep history of mining, does not come easily. It only comes with diligence and a relentless focus on applying SafeWork, our risk-based safety framework. STLLR Gold recently announced assay results from the exploration drilling at targets in the Golden Highway area of the Tower Gold Project in the Timmins Mining Camp in Ontario, Canada. Keyvan Salehi, President, CEO, and Director of STLLR stated: “We intersected significant mineralization in the western portion of the Last Chance Zone, located at the western end of the Tower Gold Project. Cartier Resources Inc. (ECR-V): Cartier intersects 11.2 g/t Au over 2m on VG9 Target of the Chimo Mine Project, Québec Abitibi On August 15, 2024 Ressources Cartier Resources announced drill results from its ongoing drilling campaign on the Chimo Mine Project located ~45 km east of the well-endowed Val-d’Or gold mining camp. The current drill program is currently exploring 54 targets over half ( of the Chimo Project's gold discovery potential along a segment of the Larder Lake - Cadillac Fault Zone. Recall the Chimo Mine Project comprises the Chimo Mine and East Cadillac properties, the latter of which was acquired on April 7, 2022 (see: https://lnkd.in/eR3WC2Ec). Cartier began exploring this new area of the project in 2024 and both properties are 100% owned. New Zone: New high-grade gold mineralization is intersected within the Larder Lake - Cadillac Fault Zone to the NNW of the West Nordeau. Recall Chimo and West Nordeau are host to a 2.35 M oz. resources endowment that remains open at depth. Note that the Larder Lake - Cadillac Fault Zone is recognized over a 20 km strike length on the Chimo Mine Project and offers optionality and exposure to discovery. The new VG9 Target returned up to 11.2 g/t Au over 2m. The VG9 Target mineralization begins at surface and appears to vector along a NW plunge, confirming Cartier’s hypothesis of mineralized rakes. Additionally, this a new type of mineralization in sedimentary rocks which may host gold concentrations that are, for the Chimo Project, generally higher than those found in the volcanic rocks. Current drill results suggest depth extensions along a NW plunging rake. #ASXNews AuMEGA Announces Start of Phase Two Diamond Drilling AuMEGA Metals (formerly Matador Mining Limited) is pleased to announce the start of the second phase of diamond drilling on the Cape Ray Shear Zone (“CRSZ”) located in Newfoundland, Canada. The primary focus of this diamond #drilling is on Greenfield targets at Malachite. Our highly successful RC winter drill program identified three, large, mineralised zones at Malachite and through our targeting workshop and detailed analysis, we have identified several drill targets within two of these zones. Our primary focus and initial drill targets are at the O-2 West area. Here, the RC program delivered the best bedrock sample and a series of additional holes on the same line and across multiple RC lines. One hole delivered 627 ppb gold along with 1.99% copper in bedrock only seven metres below surface right into a structure that splays off the main O-2 breakout structure. This was a clear standout result.
