Anhui Wound Solutions
Innovative Technologies and Rising Demand Propel Canada's Wound Care and Hemostats Market The wound care and hemostats market in Canada are experiencing significant growth, driven by technological advancements and an increasing prevalence of chronic wounds and surgical procedures. Smart dressings with sensors now monitor wound healing in real-time, while biologically active dressings enhance healing with growth factors and antimicrobial agents. Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) systems are becoming more advanced and portable, improving patient mobility and comfort. The rise in chronic wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers and pressure ulcers, due to an aging population and increased diabetes and obesity rates, is driving demand for advanced wound care products. Simultaneously, the growing number of surgical procedures is boosting demand for effective hemostats that control bleeding and improve recovery times. Home care services are expanding, with user-friendly wound care products and digital health tools for remote monitoring becoming more popular. Healthcare providers are seeking cost-effective wound care and hemostat solutions without compromising quality, driving innovation and leading to more affordable options. The Canadian wound care market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 5.6% from 2023 to 2028, reaching CAD 2.1 billion, while the hemostats market is expected to expand at a CAGR of 6.2%, reaching CAD 450 million by 2028. Advanced wound care products are estimated to account for over 60% of the market revenue by 2028. As healthcare evolves, the market will see further advancements and expanded adoption of innovative solutions, improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs.

Our surgical back table features adjustable height and customizable shelves, making it an accessible solution for people of all heights and statures. The physical strain of lifting and lowering trays is the number one cause of injury in the OR. With our back table, you can reduce this strain, creating a safer working environment. Increased accessibility can help attract more women surgeons and surgical techs, which studies, like the one highlighted in this article, show can improve patient care and outcomes. We work with our cases to implement our solutions one piece at a time, ensuring a smooth transition for everyone who relies on them. With every tool accounted for and increased visibility, our back table is winning over surgeons and enhancing patient safety. Read more now about the benefits of inclusion in the OR and request your live demo of the surgical back table today at [email protected] https://lnkd.in/eAfZH7DY #ORInnovation #HealthcareEfficiency #PatientSafety #DinamicOR #SurgicalSolutions

In May, the CDA and the Provincial and Territorial Dental Associations commissioned a survey to better understand how Canadians thoughts about the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). While the data revealed that most Canadians agree the CDCP has the potential to have a positive impact, it also revealed several challenges with the plan. One of the biggest challenges the survey identified was that Canadians are unclear about the eligibility requirements for the plan. According to the survey, only 1 in 5 seniors were able to identify all the CDCP eligibility requirements. This number is even lower when looking at the general population with only 11% of Canadians being able to identify all four eligibility requirements. As the CDCP continues to roll out across Canada, and more Canadians become eligible to register for the plan, it is critical that patients understand if they are eligible for CDCP coverage before their dental appointment. Our Know Before You Go patient education program aims to help patients understand all aspects of the CDCP before they visit their dentist. This allows patients to feel more comfortable with the plan and avoid any unnecessary surprises. 🔗 Visit https://lnkd.in/gcB_KwYx to learn more about the CDCP and what patients should know before their next appointment.

What is the CDA Seal? The CDA Seal Program independently validates specific oral health benefit claims made by a product's manufacturer. The CDA Seal and its accompanying statement are found on products that have successfully completed the CDA review process. For Canadian consumers, the CDA Seal provides reassurance that the product can improve their oral health in the ways specifically claimed by the manufacturer. For the manufacturer, the CDA Seal differentiates its products in the marketplace by highlighting their validated oral health benefits. The CDA Seal plays an important role in dentists' and their teams' daily interactions with patients. It helps dental professionals make informed product recommendations so that patients can meet their individual oral health needs and goals. When in doubt, look for the CDA Seal. If a product bears the CDA Seal, you can be sure it will deliver the oral health benefits claimed by the manufacturer and validated by CDA. #CDASeal #OralHealth #DentalCare #HealthySmile

I was invited today by the National Research Council Canada / Conseil national de recherches Canada and the Taiwan Textile Research Institute to talk about medical wearables and AI. Our field has progressed so much over the past 10 years! Here are some takeaways: - Each month, millions of patients are adopting a new medical wearable. - New materials, batteries, and electronics are enabling better form factors. - Great software is essential to add value through data automation and UX. - Validation and clinical trials require a lot of ressources when developing medical wearables and artificial intelligence. - New instruments provide new types of data, which lead to new models for how we care for patients, and even sometimes change our definition of a disease. For over 15 years Hexoskin has been involved in the development of clinical wearables and medical AI. We've always known that progress on medical AI needed a better way to collect high quality physiological data, and its our focus on data that made Hexoskin an industry leader. From chronic and rare diseases to the International Space Station National Laboratory, our technology has been vital for many breakthroughs, and this is just the start! Today thousands of professionals and researchers around the world use Hexoskin sensors and software to manage health programs and collect data for clinical research projects.
