Good morning LinkedIn, Sajithkumar ⚡️ Swaminathan and I have been collaborating for the past three years, engaging in various activities such as running podcasts, conducting training sessions, and sharing job opportunities. Typically, we share these updates on LinkedIn (Get Hired In Canada) and WhatsApp groups. However, as it grew, few individuals expressed difficulty in locating these posts and chats. In response, I decided to repurpose and launch the website www.canadaitclub.ca as a new job board. This platform is designed specifically for IT professionals in Canada to easily search for new opportunities. In the initial phase, which began on April 24th, we conducted a soft launch. Currently, only admins have the capability to post jobs, and recruiters are yet to be onboarded. However, job seekers can still apply for positions without the need for login credentials. Looking forward to seeing the positive impact this platform will have on the IT community in Canada.

In the year 2000, Microsoft launched Window me which was a follow up to windows 98. By 2004, Microsoft announced that they do not want to support anymore and in 2006 they ended the support for this product. Have you ever wondered why many products fail to attract customers and achieve product market fit ? The significant reason for many products' failure to achieve product market fit is due to the lack of thorough product discovery, the top reason being lack of funding. ✨ So, what is Product Discovery ? Product Discovery is the foundation of product management and is the process of understanding customer's needs, business context and using that knowledge to decide what to build next. The output of product discovery is a validated product backlog. ✨ Why Product Discovery ? Doing thorough product discovery helps in increasing the chances of building products that customers actually want and thereby achieve product success. ✨ How to conduct product discovery ? Product discovery can be executed in two phases. 👉 Exploration Phase This entails list of activities to understand customer problems, desires, needs and preferences and ideate the solutions. Scrum Artifacts: Scrum, a popular Agile framework, is built on transparency, inspection, and adaptation. Central to this framework are Scrum Artifacts—essential tools that provide critical information to the Scrum team and stakeholders, enabling effective decision-making and continuous improvement. Here’s a quick guide to the key Scrum artifacts: 1. Product Backlog The Product Backlog is a dynamic list of everything that needs to be done to deliver a successful product. It includes new features, enhancements, bug fixes, technical debt, and research activities. Managed by the Product Owner, it is constantly refined and reprioritized to align with changing market needs or business goals. Each item (referred to as a "user story") is detailed enough to be actionable, ensuring the team understands its value and priority. 2. Sprint Backlog Once the team selects a set of Product Backlog items for a Sprint, they become part of the Sprint Backlog. This artifact includes tasks, user stories, and actionable steps that the development team commits to completing within the sprint. The Sprint Backlog is highly flexible—adjustments can be made by the development team during the sprint, but only if they don’t compromise the Sprint Goal. 3. Increment The Increment represents the sum of all completed Product Backlog items up to that point. Each sprint concludes with an Increment that is “Done” and potentially shippable. The goal is to deliver a working product increment that adds value to the end-user, continuously building towards the overall project vision. Consistent delivery of valuable increments helps the team gather feedback early and often, reducing risks. Why Scrum Artifacts Matter They promote transparency, ensuring that everyone is on the same page regarding progress, priorities, and deliverables. They provide focus and alignment, helping the team and stakeholders understand what’s being built and why.
