I mentioned about CTI integration, so asked about call log generation in Salesforce via standard APIs. 3. How have you handled edge cases in the code that you have written. (specific to your project) 4. Error retry and error logging mechanisms when inserting data into db using apex. 5. Performance impact while using @track decorators in LWC. 6. Explanation of the integration scenario I have worked on. The authentication technique used and the end-to-end flow. 7. Have you worked on setting up SSO? Do you have idea on what is SSO? 8. Have you worked on git commands? 9. I have a batch on accounts in which for each account I process, I want to send an email plus check a checkbox on the account. What would be your approach? Where would you send the email, in the execute method or in the start method? Will you be hitting any governor limits? 10. I have an LWC to display data to unauthenticated guest user in community. How will you give permission to the user and display data? 11. What if the user wants to create or update the records how do you give access? 12. I have an apex method which I want to call in with sharing mode for internal authenticated users but for unauthenticated users I want to call it in without sharing mode. How would you achieve that? This was a pure technical round and focus was on in depth understanding of core apex and LWC concept. Has Salesforce learned its integration lesson if it buys Informatica? https://lnkd.in/gGPitVQW Whilst there are many great Salesforce reference customers who use MuleSoft to achieve world class Salesforce business integration, MuleSoft is not well adopted by most Salesforce customers in my experience. There are many Salesforce and MuleSoft customers who do not use MuleSoft for Salesforce integration and many that do not follow the MuleSoft recommended pattern and build the integration logic in Apex or Source / Target code and use MuleSoft as an expensive gateway, it’s a bit like towing a truck behind a golf cart. There are a lot of good reasons why companies take this approach, but in the world of AI, having integration logic in loosely coupled APIS / middleware (doesn’t have to be MuleSoft) that can rapidly connect and orchestrate AI across your business will be invaluable.   MuleSoft has led the Gartner iPaaS and API Management magic quadrants for a long time, but it simply has not had an offering or rated a mention for big data, streaming, Master Data Management, ETL and all things information management. It connects to these systems but doesn’t do it. In the great AI goldrush, moving lots of data around, making lots of copies and then having to sort it all out with information management tools / master data management, has suddenly become cool again. With my many years of experience with many information management tools, It is ironic how we need AI to help with the information management problem created by AI! Informatica is by default suddenly cool again and hence Salesforce interest, especially considering how you get stuff in and out of Data Cloud. The combination of Tableau and Informatica is also pretty awesome. What is interesting is that Informatica has its own API management, iPaaS and a range of other goodies, so to think of it as old school “on premise” is very wrong.     Whilst MuleSoft had many Salesforce customers before the acquisition and has added many more since, there are still plenty of customers that do not use other Salesforce products and don’t get the love they once did. Will the approach change for Informatica? Maybe it is just a “good buy” given the amount of data that will be moved around and need to be managed. I personally think it is a smart move and given IBM has a very similar toolset, it will likely dust off all it’s “Infosphere” stuff and put it in the shop window for someone who gets cloud. I can hear the game of thrones theme tune cranking up.

If you are hiring a Salesforce developer you need to be careful. Gone are days of writing code line by line and spending days Hire those who are smart in knowing sfdc crm features and dev frameworks end to end at high level. The talent hunt should be shifted to BA+Architect combinations as AI is emerging and no need advanced developers as ChatGPT and other LLMs can create a 99% accurate code including test classes. Recently I have done a good number of use cases at faster pace. You just need to be prompt expert and know how to ask and should be able to understand the Llm generated code and improve it. When you do this do not ask llm with company specific info to generate the code to prevent any llm using your secured input data Always favor paid LLMs which promise you not to use your input for its own training Llm settings help you to do your job in a secured and reliable way Good luck

How did we call apex in LWC? There are two primary ways to call Apex methods from LWC [1] Wire [2] Imperatively [1] Wire - You can call methods from Apex using wire. You have to annotate your apex method with @AuraEnabled(cacheable=true). Using the wire services reduces the server call because it loads the data from the cache. We can’t do DML with a wire decorator. We cannot write Wire in methods. [2] Imperative Call - If we want to invoke our method call on some click or to control our method invocation we have to call the method imperatively. Calling our method in this way is also helpful if we want to perform some DML operations. Here, we only annotate our method @AuraEnabled. #salesforce #lwc
