ZoomerMedia has cleared a big hurdle for going private. Earlier today, shareholders of Zoomer overwhelmingly approved (99.5%) a plan to buy back common shares in order to take the company private. The arrangement is expected to take effect shortly after December 11, 2024 by final order of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, soon after which the common shares of ZoomerMedia will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange. “We’re excited to go private, to reduce the administrative and financial burdens of being public, and to take the company to the next level,” said Chief Operating Officer Omri Tintpulver.
