✨ As we wrap up another remarkable year, we want to thank all WSAVA members, volunteers, partners, and our dedicated team. Your unwavering commitment and contributions have made 2024 a truly exceptional year for the global veterinary community. This year, we celebrated a major milestone- the incredible success of the WSAVA Congress in China. It was truly inspiring to see our community come together, sharing knowledge, building connections, and advancing care for companion animals worldwide. We also proudly introduced three new guidelines: ◾ Professional Wellness Guidelines ◾ Reproduction Control Guidelines ◾ An updated version of the Vaccination Guidelines Looking ahead, we are working on several exciting projects for 2025, including the 2025 WSAVA Congress in Rio de Janeiro, taking place from 25 to 27 September. From all of us at WSAVA, we wish you a wonderful holiday season and a happy, prosperous new year!

🌍🐾 𝗪𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗔 𝗩𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗯-𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮! As part of its mission to enhance the health and welfare of small companion animals globally, the WSAVA Vaccination Committee has launched an ambitious initiative in sub-Saharan Africa. Starting in 2023, this project aims to better understand infectious diseases in the region’s small animals and provide evidence-based vaccination recommendations to practitioners. In October 2024, the committee visited Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, and Kenya, working with veterinarians to address infectious diseases.
