During the holiday season, we are often asked to dig deeper into our pockets and donate to charity. Many of us give spontaneously, donating what spare cash we have available. In this throwback episode, Founder John Bromely joins Jessica Moorhouse, AFCC®, on the More Money Podcast to discuss how more strategic, planned giving can have a much greater impact on the causes we care about than sporadic, end-of-year donations. You have probably heard this a lot this year: Giving to charity is declining. While this may be true, generosity isn't. That’s what I believe. I’d go further and say that I believe that we all want to give back in one way or another. So what’s the problem? Too many of us don’t really know where or how to start. Generosity is in our nature, but like any good trait, it needs to be nurtured in a way that resonates with who we are and how we see the world around us. That's partly why I started Charitable Impact—to provide people with the right tools and support for their giving journey. Check us out if you want to know more!

At Charitable Impact culture is at the heart of everything we do. It’s shaped by imagination, courage, kindness, respect, and generosity - not just as ideas but as practices we live every day. That’s why I’m so very proud and excited to share that we’ve been named one of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures for 2024 by Waterstone Human Capital!
