What a year it's been! We've hosted 135 events, with nearly 20,000 attendees, bringing Greater Vancouver's business community together like never before. From students to CEOs, start-ups to B.C.'s biggest companies, health care to transportation, sports to innovation, buses to air travel, and everything in between, a huge shoutout to the incredible thought leaders who shared their insights and sparked meaningful conversations. Thank you to our Members for showing up and joining forces to shape the future of Greater Vancouver. We couldn't have done it without our sponsors, especially our Pillar Partners: TELUS, CN, Vancouver Airport Authority, British Columbia Institute of Technology, Air Canada, and RBC, whose unwavering support makes it all possible. As we look ahead to an exciting 2025, please note that our office will be closed from December 23, 2024, to January 2, 2025. See you in the new year!

“Leadership is about taking your seat at the table or creating it, if one doesn’t exist.” We were thrilled to welcome new and familiar faces at the Engaged Leadership Program social, where the 2025 cohort connected and networked with alumni of the program. The evening featured an insightful keynote from Radha Curpen, National Client Relationship Ambassador and Group Head, ESG and Sustainability at McMillan LLP. Radha shared her professional journey, reflecting on what it means to lead with purpose and authenticity. She proposed a three-pronged strategy for new and established leaders centred on vision, empathy, and resilience, leaving attendees with many memorable insights. Thank you to our sponsors, attendees, and moderator, Jessica Fletcher, for making this inspiring evening possible. Your engagement and enthusiasm truly brought the event to life!

Some of our favourite images from the very last event of 2024. The Greater Vancouver business community filled the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver’s Pacific Ballroom to hear from Bank of Canada Governor, Tiff Macklem, and gain insights on the economic factors that shape Canada's monetary policy and the complex decisions that affect businesses, individuals, and families. A big thank you to our moderator, Darren Dahl, Dean of UBC Sauder School of Business and to our sponsors, partners, and attendees for making the event a success. #GVBOT #cdnpoli #BCBiz Presenting Sponsor: Invest Vancouver Preferred Venue Partner: Fairmont Hotel Vancouver Preferred Media Partner: BIV News Presented in partnership with: World Trade Centre Vancouver 📸 MATT BORCK from The One Group (OG) Agency
