As a company dedicated to opportunity, we were thrilled to welcome these talented interns to our team this month! Instead of just sharing their takeaways, we wanted to show what their leaders had to say. Here’s what the people who worked with them most had to say about these future stars. We’re excited to share their feedback as they take the next step in their careers. #FutureLeaders #Opportunity

  • Our award-winning campaign with Elanco Canada was one for the books this year! The “Leave it Better” campaign made a big impact across beef, swine, poultry and dairy! Since launching in May, the campaign has driven impressive results: over 58K page views, 51K unique visitors and 192 QR code scans. With 38K organic visits and an average session time of nearly 7 minutes, it’s clear that people are resonating with Elanco Canada’s message. Not only did the campaign exceed expectations for our client, but it placed 1st at Best of CAMA this past November! 🥇 Ready to get to work? • This story is a great reminder for all businesses that putting in the effort to nurture and align your culture is essential. When your culture truly reflects your mission and values, it shows in every customer interaction and builds lasting trust and loyalty. #branding #strategy #culture #marketing

I had an interesting brand experience a few weeks ago. I went to get my regular haircut at my regular hairdressers and, as usual, a conversation started. However, this conversation wasn’t really a conversation. Driven by current events, it was political, divisive and hate filled. Whether or not I agreed with the perspectives at hand, it was the setting that made me uncomfortable. This was a family hairdressers where I taken my son for years, a place that was easy going, friendly and fun. I realized that the tone of the conversation had broken the values I shared with that brand. In that moment, the experience I had shocked me into questioning if this brand was right for me moving forward. This is the power of shared values and how they drive intentional experiences for your customer. Your culture is a collection of motivations and behaviours that bring your brand purpose, mission, vision to life consistently. Without these consistent behaviours whatever you deliver can be compromised. Ask these questions:  • Are your values working together to create a set of behaviours that drive a successful experience?  • Are they easy to understand and actionable?  • Are they unique to you and how you want to be different?  • Are you talking about them at every opportunity? Recently at Think Shift we had our yearly Retreat where we talked about how our values are perceived, actioned and, importantly, what gets in the way of living them out everyday? “Culture eats strategy for breakfast” Peter Drucker A truly intentional culture is one of the most overlooked yet important consideration for any brand. Your brand can have a brilliant strategic direction but if you have a fractured culture the strategy will under deliver. If you take your eye off it for a minute, you will find your culture will get unclear on what is accepted and what isn’t. Fair play to the hairdresser whose owner called me immediately after and expressed their dismay at the situation. This event clearly caused re-alignment, but in the process lost a loyal customer of 15 years.

  • Celebrating birthdays in style 🎉 Our Think Shifters brainstormed the fantastic idea of gifting each team member $150 to spend on their special day—along with a day off to enjoy it. At the end of each month, we love sharing how everyone celebrated and spent their funds! Some recent birthday fun included a hair appointment, golf day and time with family. #worklifebalance #culture
