Excited to share our latest tradition with the CannonDesign team – participating in the Teknion Festival of Trees! Each year, we come together to decorate a beautiful Christmas tree that’s donated to support a great cause. This year, our tree takes on one of the industry’s hottest topics: sustainability. Made entirely from recycled materials, it’s not just festive – it’s a meaningful statement about reducing waste and promoting responsible design. Our handcrafted tree includes salvaged materials like: • 450–500 fabric memos 🧵 • 12 rubber bases ⚫ • 30 used CDs 💿 • 25 water bottles 🍼 • 5 metal samples 🔩 • 6 boxes 📦 and many recycling newspapers These materials could’ve ended up in a landfill, but instead, they’ve been transformed into something beautiful. With the interior design industry contributing significantly to waste, we’re proud to show how recycling and reusing can create art and impact. These marvelous creations not only bring joy but also give back, as the trees are then donated to charities close to their hearts. De belles collaborations ont pris forme cette année ! ✨ Une centaine de collaborateurs de la marque Teknion se sont réunis début décembre pour une soirée cocktail inédite et interactive où design et célébration se sont unis, autour d'un concept interactif et ludique: Des Formes et des Fêtes. Chaque invité a choisi instinctivement une forme parmi les cinq proposées et a été incité à découvrir à quelle pièce de mobilier la forme correspondait, révélant ainsi des détails sur sa personnalité de créateur ; une manière ludique de célébrer, à travers la salle de montre montréalaise de Teknion au 16e étage de la Tour Deloitte, leur talent pour créer des espaces inspirants.  Chacun est reparti avec un ornement de Noël, réalisé par Studio Minéral C’était un réel plaisir pour Index-Design de conceptualiser et d’organiser cette soirée de Noël, en collaboration avec Teknion Montréal !
