Today is #WorldChildren’sDay, a day dedicated to fostering conversations and taking action to improve the lives of children worldwide. Through the power of play, we’re helping children thrive – even in areas of crisis and instability with our Toy Movements and Child Friendly Spaces (CFS) play kits. For one of our most recent Toy Movements, we collaborated with Save the Children Canada to deliver 50 CFS Play Kits and 2,000 toys to 11 schools in the Yukon through the First Nation School Board. The toys were carefully packed by our employees in Toronto to help deliver a truly magical experience within each box. With the support from our partner Spin Master, our Club kids had the chance to dive into a world of imaginative play with the Design Your Own Fantasy Figurine activity! From dragons to unicorns, they created unique fantasy characters and mythical creatures using air-dry clay, paint, beads, and more. 🐉🦄🎨 This project empowered children through the power of play while promoting their creativity, storytelling, and artistic skills, beautifully complementing our arts and academic success programs. This weekend, we had the incredible honor of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Rubik’s Cube with Professor Ernő Rubik at Twist Museum in London. In 1974, Ernő discovered a simple yet complex puzzle that would become a cultural icon, transcending generations, borders, and disciplines, inspiring creativity and problem-solving worldwide. Ernő's visit brought together fans, puzzle enthusiasts, and innovators to explore the Cube’s legacy and its impact on minds of all ages.
