Due online in early 2025, Jinwan Branch, to be built in Jinwan District, Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China, is a 20-minute-drive from MTU's existing facility and its parent company, MTU Maintenance Zhuhai. Jinwan will focus on maintaining, repairing and overhauling PW1100G-JM engines and ramp up to a capacity of 260 shop visits by 2030. Another week, another GE90: Our ON-SITEᴾˡᵘˢ experts are always on the ready. Last week, one of our customers reported an aircraft-on-ground (AOG) situation after discovering bearing material in a screen of their GE90-110B1’s accessory gearbox. Within 24 Hours, we organized the needed material and tooling and took off for Asia. Once there, we removed the damaged AGB and installed a serviceable one with fresh hardware.
