Earlier this week, Metro Vancouver’s Youth and Education Advisory Panel shared their views about how we can improve waste reduction and recycling. Their input will be considered as the regional Solid Waste Management Plan is updated. Hearing from young people is critical as Metro Vancouver does long range planning! Thank you to all the panel members for their time and insights. Learn more about the Youth and Education Advisory Panel: https://lnkd.in/gYsE3HPZ #MetroVancouver

A new regional park is coming to #MetroVancouver! We will be creating South Langley Regional Park by combining a recently purchased piece of private property with the existing Municipal Natural Park, generously contributed by the Township of Langley. Park visitors can enjoy equestrian and walking trails, view natural areas from a bridge, and access parking. This is a rare opportunity to continue to preserve wooded areas, wetlands, and riparian areas — including portions of the Little Campbell River and Kerfoot Creek — and share this special environment with the public.
