We are LivingWorks – the world’s leading suicide prevention skills training company. Our prevention and intervention skills programs train any person of any skill level within workplaces, schools, and entire communities to help keep one another safer from suicide. Since LivingWorks began in 1983 we have grown our global impact, training nearly 2 million people in over 30 countries worldwide. With more than 50+ peer-reviewed published articles and Government reports, our programs have proven effective in increasing skills and confidence in people to help someone with thoughts of suicide to keep safe, access help, and find hope. Our two-day LivingWorks ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) workshop is the gold standard suicide first aid training, developed over 40 years ago and continually improved through research. LivingWorks safeTALK is a half-day suicide alertness skills workshop. With over 120,000 people attending each year, it’s the world’s fastest-growing suicide prevention skills training course. *We have ASIST and safeTALK training enhancements for Christian faith communities as well as Indigenous peoples and LGBTQIA+ communities!* The LivingWorks Start online 90-minute training program teaches foundational awareness skills to know how to identify someone with thoughts of suicide and refer them to a helper.
