A personal message from Sumana Jeddy, MPH: “Thanksgiving has and will always be a special holiday. It is probably one of my favorites. Sadly, this year, I don't get to be with my family. We usually have a big dinner filled with laughter and the occasional holiday squabble (holidays, am I right?). But before we leave, we always make up. I will get to see my family in a few weeks. I am grateful for my health, my work, my strengths, imperfections, and all the daily comforts. As I reflect on gratitude, I can’t help but think of the beauty of nature here in Calgary. Just the other day, I spotted a moose near my house—something I see quite frequently. The mom was probably nearby, but I didn’t see her this time. It’s moments like these that remind me of the simple joys in life. Though I miss the red foliage, the yellows in Alberta are quite magnificent. As the president of this company, I’ve had the honor of meeting and talking to so many amazing executives and employees. Thank you for saying yes to us and giving me the opportunity to serve you and your people.
