Yesterday morning (like really really morning - 6:30 AM!) was the YYC Tech Gives Spam Cup competition at the Calgary Food Bank and team Helcim showed up to support! Special thanks to Rahul Parakkat, Zoe Lavena, Cheryl Hooper and Laurent Beique for competing in the food sorting competition! I've competed with Zoe in the past and I do mean it's a competition these people show up to win! 💪 We also won the Heaviest Lifter award for YYC Tech Gives for the overall most food collected! To recognize this 799 pound accomplishment the team is celebrating with commemorative LEGO bricks. Great work for all the companies for fundraised ahead of Spam Cup and to the 20 teams that competed yesterday. Thank you all for making a difference to the YYC community! 😊
