Champions unite under #GenesisMagmaRacing team. André Lotterer and Luis ‘Pipo’ Derani will take the wheel of the GMR-001 Hypercar. They will take on the car’s technical development and conduct simulator sessions to prepare for the debut #LMDh season in 2026, where they will both serve as race drivers. “After winning the FIA Hypercar World Endurance Drivers’ Championship this year, this opportunity is the perfect fit for me to channel my work, experience, passion and motivation into a new project with a team of highly ambitious individuals. Introducing Genesis Magma Racing (#GMR), marking its first major milestone in the motorsport arena. The centrepiece of #Genesis’ motorsport ambitions, the Genesis GMR-001 Hypercar was revealed. Striking design styled with the signature Two Lines lighting, the GMR-001 Hypercar embodies the brand’s commitment to “Athletic Elegance” in a high-performance, endurance-ready package. Another reveal was the #GenesisMagmaRacing logo. Inspired from the Korean alphabet, hangeul, spelling of “Magma” (마그마), the Genesis Magma Racing logo design incorporates the consonants “ㅁ”,”ㄱ”, and “ㅁ” as its foundational elements, blending innovation with the brand’s distinctly Korean identity. Ce mois-ci, dans le cadre de notre série Célébrer la réussite, nous saluons la contribution remarquable de Rebecca Giancola. Rebecca est une véritable rockstar du marketing et une membre indispensable de l'équipe de Genesis Canada. Sa volonté de développer de nouvelles idées novatrices, évolutives et transformatrices contribue à façonner la marque au Canada. Son mandat couvre un vaste champ d'action. Rebecca participe à la conception de chaque point de contact marketing, que ce soit au niveau de l'image de marque, du Web ou de la vente au détail, toujours en s'appuyant sur ses connaissances approfondies de chaque domaine d'activité.   Après avoir terminé son baccalauréat en gestion des affaires et en études organisationnelles de la Western University, Rebecca a entamé sa carrière dans le domaine de la vente au détail de produits de luxe. Elle s'est d'abord jointe à Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. en février 2017 en tant que coordonnatrice de la publicité au détail, puis a occupé d'autres postes au sein de l'organisation, notamment celui d'analyste de la publicité au détail, d'analyste du marketing numérique et des médias sociaux avant d'être promue au rôle de planificatrice d'événements et de commandites.   En juillet 2022, elle a intégré l'équipe de Genesis Canada en tant que spécialiste du marketing, où elle a su démontrer sa capacité à organiser simultanément de nombreux projets, activations et initiatives hautement détaillés qui évoluent très rapidement, toujours en temps opportun et de manière structurée, et ce, dans un positivisme et un enthousiasme qui lui sont propres.

This month, we acknowledge the many contributions of Rebecca Giancola in our Celebrating Success series. Rebecca is a high achieving marketing rockstar who is an indispensable member of the Genesis Canada team. Her drive to develop innovative new ideas, both incremental and transformative, is helping to shape the brand in Canada. Her mandate is broad. Rebecca helps shape every marketing touchpoint, from brand to web to retail. But she expertly applies her depth of experience to each discipline.   Starting her career in luxury retail, Rebecca graduated from Western University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Organizational Studies. She first joined Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. in February of 2017 as a Retail Advertising Coordinator. She then moved on to other roles within the organization, first as a Retail Advertising Analyst, then Digital and Social Media Marketing Analyst before being promoted to the role of Events and Sponsorship Planner.   In July 2022, she joined the Genesis Canada team as a Marketing Specialist where she has demonstrated the ability to simultaneously organize many fast paced and highly detailed projects, activations and initiatives in a timely and well-organized manner, all while remaining positive and enthusiastic.

Genesis is proud to announce the opening of Genesis Design California in El Segundo, Calif in Q1 2025. The inspired aesthetic of this space will make it a hub for the future of Genesis design, reflecting the values of the brand while delivering the same sense of calm felt in our vehicles and showrooms. Le modèle Genesis le plus vendu au Canada fait peau neuve. Les VUS GV70 et GV70 Électrifié 2026 nouvellement redessinés ont été dévoilés lors d'un événement exclusif à Los Angeles le 19 novembre dernier. Le design extérieur des GV70 et GV70 Électrifié reprend la philosophie conceptuelle d'Élégance athlétique de Genesis, en plus de se parer d'améliorations telles que la calandre à double maille et les phares à deux lignes emblématiques. L'intérieur des deux modèles a également été amélioré pour offrir une expérience encore plus agréable au conducteur et aux passagers. The best-selling Genesis model in Canada has been redesigned. The newly redesigned 2026 GV70 and Electrified GV70 SUVs were revealed at an exclusive event in Los Angeles on Nov. 19. The exterior designs of GV70 and Electrified GV70 embrace Genesis’ “Athletic Elegance” design philosophy and have been elevated with enhanced details, such as a dual-weave mesh radiator grille and iconic two-line headlamps. The interior has also been improved in both models to create an enhanced experience for drivers and passengers.
