Today, we pause to honour the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of all those who have served and continue to serve in the armed forces. Their commitment to protecting our freedom and values is something we carry with us every day. As we remember the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice, we reflect on the lasting impact of their bravery. We stand united in gratitude and respect. #RemembranceDay #LestWeForget #HonouringOurHeroes #NeverForgotten

Where would we be without planners? Whether it's creating sustainable urban spaces, designing walkable neighborhoods, or ensuring equitable access to resources, planning is essential to building a better, greener, and more connected world. Let's honour the work of planners, both public and private, who are making a positive impact on our lives through creating communities that are resilient and forward-thinking. Happy World Town Planning Day! #WorldTownPlanningDay #UrbanPlanning #SustainableCities #CommunityBuilding #FutureCities #SmartGrowth #TownPlanning
Every year on November 8, World Town Planning Day (WTPD) celebrates the crucial role of planners in shaping sustainable and resilient communities. Established in 1949, WTPD raises awareness about the importance of urban and regional planning worldwide, inspiring us all to work together for a better future now and in the years to come. OPPI and the Canadian Institute of Planners have released a statement advocating for November 8 to be recognized as WTPD in the City of Toronto. National Water and Wastewater Conference is off to a great start! This afternoon our very own Chris Gerrits presented “Source Water Protection for a First Nation through a Traditional Knowledge Lens” as part of Session 2F, “Drinking Water Management - Small System and First Nations Challenges”. The presentation examined traditional land use, natural heritage, water sources and supply as part of a Source Protection Plan that the Crozier team worked on with Beausoleil First Nation. #NWWA2024 #CWWA

Who else is thrilled about today’s rate cut? We believe that every little bit counts when it comes to housing affordability, so much so that we’ve incorporated it into our employee benefits. Our First-Time Home Buyers' Assistance Program has helped 36 Crozier employees (and counting) to purchase their first homes. The Globe and Mail recently spoke with some of our recipients about their experience. Read more:
