Last week, I represented PIT Policy Lab as part of a delegation from Mexico 🇲🇽 that attended Canada's ALL IN AI event 🇨🇦. Ulises Moya S, Jalisco's AI Director, who presented some of the initiatives that the state is pioneering in fields like preventive health and environmental conservation. This was my first time in Montreal 🍁, and I absolutely loved its multicultural atmosphere and friendliness. I was particularly impressed by how the Quebecois sense of history is intertwined with their forward-looking vision for leveraging AI in an ethical and responsible way. The program truly reflected the province's ethos, and I am excited to connect the dots to collaborate closely with Canada's vibrant AI ecosystem. Special shoutout to Gilbert W., Elise Laferriere & Maxime St-Jules for their hard work coordinating each of the 1-1 meetings and for the overall support!
