  • The Calgary International Film Festival would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Community Grants at the Calgary Foundation for their support of the CIFF Constellation. Their $125,000 grant allows us to take the first step in our transformative vision for cinema in Calgary. This gift, along with the continued support of Calgarians, enabled CIFF to purchase two of the planned six cinema projectors. The Projector Procurement 2024 Project will allow for the activation of spaces across the city to deliver outstanding cinematic experiences. Calgary has lost over 85% of its downtown cinema capacity since 1990. The Calgary Foundation has enabled the first expansion of that capacity in decades for the enjoyment of almost two million Calgarians. For more information on how you can be a part of creating a vibrant Constellation of cinema experiences across Calgary, please visit https://lnkd.in/gNjWYdVt.
