If you have been watching the new Knowledge Network Corporation docuseries ‘Transplant Stories,’ you may recognize one of our volunteers who was at BC Children's Hospital, Vancouver today for Operation Popcorn.    Now 13 years old, Addison was BC Children’s Hospital first infant heart transplant recipient. Her story is featured in the episode released today. (Stream for free on knowledge.ca or watch the broadcast at 9 p.m. tonight.)    Addison and her little sister were joined by Kate (kidney recipient) and Brian (Kate’s husband and living kidney donor), along with their two kids.    What a fun way to thank health-care staff at BCCH for their dedication, kindness and support.

You will support the Outpatient Cardiology Clinic and the Cardiac Catheterization & Electrophysiology (EP) Lab by leading and supervising nursing and clerical staff, managing unit operations, and ensuring high-quality patient care. You'll collaborate with leadership on staff education, performance reviews, and unit activities while acting as a clinical resource and participating in recruitment efforts. Requirements for this role include a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing and 3+ years’ recent, tertiary experience, including 1+ year of recent experience in a supervisory/leadership capacity.
