Last week, I went to Toronto to attend Demo Day at Google, where I learned about some incredible startups in Canada, like Aya Care. I also had the chance to reconnect with many friends throughout the week and gain interesting insights and perspectives on life and business. Thought-provoking and creatively passionate—exceeded all expectations. 🌟 Aya Care AM Leader Lab Summit: We kicked off the day alongside C-suite and executive HR leaders. A strong start for us as an #AI and tech-forward company was Ajay Agrawal insights on AI, machine learning and the discussion around the decoupling of prediction from judgment. ✨ Takeaways from HRPA CEO Jodi Kovitz: Emphasized the importance of passion-driven work and fostering workplace cultures where employees feel empowered to speak up and see the impact of their contributions. At Aya Care, these principles are part of our DNA, and I’m proud to say they’re two of our strongest cultural pillars. Key Highlights from the Main Stage: 🫶 Rayhan Azmat : I had the pleasure of catching the tail end of his talk, where he beautifully articulated the importance of kindness, trust, and empathy. He reminded us that everyone has a story—seen or unseen—and without struggle, we lack perspective. 👑 Badass Women Leaders: Hayley Wickenheiser :Breaking barriers for #women, inspiring determination, and showing us how to set our eyes on the prize.
