  • Recently Red Bull hosted their Red Bull Home Ground NA Qualifier which saw four of the best teams compete for a chance to represent the region at Red Bull Home Ground in Berlin. Following the event, we worked with some amazing guest talent to bring back Behind The Akshon, a fan favorite series from our Overwatch days, to analyse the key round that helped secure Cloud9 Esports, Inc.'s eventual victory. Give the video a watch! https://lnkd.in/gd34rgzG

  • Despite concerns around the performance of its domestic leagues, Riot Games has shown that League of Legends remains the top esports in the world. During this year's Worlds Play-In stage, viewership reached a peak viewership of 1,433,566 during the match between paiN Gaming and Movistar R7. With the Main Event set to start this week, viewership numbers will likely continue to grow, especially once Playoffs take place and it'll be interesting to see how far this year's World Championships can go in terms of viewership. #esports #leagueoflegends #viewership #riotgames #akshon #akshonesports

  • The International continues to maintain relatively strong viewership numbers. The 2024 edition of the tournament recorded a peak viewership of 1,523,957 during the grand finals between eventual champion Team Liquid and Gaimin Gladiators. While it's an increase from 2023 (1,442,274), the average viewership of 469,682 is a decrease from 2023's 541,240 average and marks the third straight year that average viewership has dropped. #esports #viewership #valve #akshon #akshonesports

  • Changes to the presentation of the LCS has paid off as Esports Charts & Streams Charts reported that the 2024 Summer Split reached a peak viewership of 260,753 during the finals between Flyquest and Team Liquid along with an average viewership of 94,915 across the whole split. Compared to the 2023 Summer Split, the league saw an increase of just over 36,000 to its peak viewership (223,943 in 2023) and an increase of around 18,000 to its average viewership (76,889 in 2023). While this is the final official season of the LCS as Riot Games will be merging the LCS, Brazil's CBLOL, and Latin America's LLA into one region consisting of two seperate leagues, it's a great sign for the future of the scene that viewership is still able to imrpove. #esports #viewership #riotgames #akshon #akshonesports

  • In our recent video we took a look at the Mortal Kombat franchise and its place in the greater fighting game community.  To attract viewers to our video we wanted to focus on MK’s spot in the big 3 fighting games which has been a big point of conversation recently. However, since that topic is still a fairly niche we had to make sure there was a right balance in our presentation of the video to attract all types of viewers. Ultimately, we chose to highlight it through our thumbnail while opting for a more general title (What happened to Mortal Kombat?) to get the best of both worlds. This approach paid off as the video has been one of our more successful recent videos that has generated a lot of engagement and debate in the comments! https://lnkd.in/gg2YZ4Uf

  • Today we wanted to highlight the latest piece of content that we produced for Evil Geniuses! As the 2024 VCT team bundles are set to leave the shop soon, EG wanted to promote their bundle one last time before it’s gone. For this, we created a new trailer featuring highlights from their star duelist Alexander "jawgemo" Mor. This project was particularly exciting for us as it allowed us to blend 3D animation and motion graphics. We thoroughly enjoyed producing this piece and look forward to developing more engaging and innovative content with EG in the future.

  • This year's competitive VALORANT circuit has ended on a huge note as VALORANT Champions 2024 ended with a peak viewership of 1.4 million viewers during the grand final between Team Heretics and Edward Gaming (EDG). While its viewership has outperformed Champions 2023 (1.29 million peak), it's still falls just short of Champions 2022 (1.5 million peak). Overall, Champions 2024 currently sits as the 4th most popular VALORANT tournament in the game's history. #riotgames #gaming #esports #viewership #akshon #akshonesports
