What it's like to be an innovation trainer. 👀 This week, I had the joy of bringing my innovation workshop, Think Like an Innovator: Master Associative Thinking, to two wonderful groups. I spoke at SXSW 2024 on this topic and will be back in 2025 to share it again! 🎉 1️⃣ The first group was Deloitte Greenhouse. 🌱 It was TRULY an honour to be there. Why? I'm a huge fan. Greenhouse is an amazing breakthrough lab. 💪 They are incredible thinkers, facilitators, designers and leaders that help clients solve business challenges. Their approach to facilitation is best-in-class and their ability to do hybrid, is second-to-none. There are Greenhouses all around the world! 🌍 Check out their work. I spoke to the entire Canadian Team across: Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax. 🇨🇦 I loved seeing the engagement from each person. I loved seeing how the tools helped people think differently. 🎤 "I want more!" 🎤 "I loved all of it!" 🎤 "The material is awesome." It's such a joy for me to be able to teach professionals whom I deeply respect how to be more innovative. 🥰 2️⃣ The second group was at the Butter 🧈 Mixer yesterday. 30 participants from around the world tuned in to get their innovator on! 🌍 It was so much fun to team up with the wonderful Rachel Davis and Cheska Teresa for the session! Thanks for having me! I love facilitators. They're a special breed of people. Facilitators are people who create space for others, celebrate diversity of thought and create better outcomes. They're authentic, down to earth and fun. I always love spending time with other facilitators. When you're with them, you feel something different. They create a special environment. Then, I got to hang out with Cheska Teresa and Rachel Davis (we're headphone twins) to plan for my upcoming Butter 🧈 mixer this coming Thursday at 12PM - 1PM Eastern. We joyfully talked about my upcoming session and we ended up talking about how many icons are on our desktops & how many unread emails are in our inboxes. What a great way to start the day!
