A couple of weeks ago, 4-H Canada hosted Members Forum 2024 in Oakville. These amazing 4-H members from across Canada showed up ready to engage, grow their network, challenge themselves, develop life and career skills, connect with each other and the caring adults supporting them, and dig into an exploration of their purpose. From epic firsts, to emotional personal revelations, it was clear these 4-H members want to and will leave their mark on the world. They are committed to being career ready, passionate about their futures and ready to continue leading and fostering positive change in and outside the agriculture sector. Take notice and make room world…the future is here and ready to step up! 4-H Canada

Reading the posts about 4-H Canada and the experiences of current and past 4Hers has brought back a few memories. 4-H was an important part of our family with me and my three brothers all participating in the dairy and field crop clubs. Included in this post is a photo of my three brothers - David, Rob and Bill - on the day of the Almonte Fair with their calves groomed ready for the show ring. My calf, a few years later, was not quite as cooperative - it ran from the show ring after slipping away from its handler. I was far better at finding eight cobs of corn for the field crop competition. The agricultural and leadership courses delivered by 4-H Ontario and affiliates across Canada remain a foundational program for rural youth. As others have said, the future of the agri-food sector is bright with these talented individuals leading the way, and that’s why I’m committed to giving back. Tomorrow needs 4-H. And today, 4-H needs you. Please donate today at: https://lnkd.in/ekJDWSPD #4HCanada #Leadership #Community #Agriculture #Youthdevelopment #Giveback

On Remembrance Day, we pause to honour the brave men and women who have served, sacrificed, and protected the freedoms we have today. Their courage and commitment to our country will never be forgotten. We are deeply inspired by the values of service, responsibility, and community that our veterans exemplify. #RemembranceDay #LestWeForget #CanadaRemembers

If we were to ask you “What is the value of 4-H?”, what would you say? Tanya Molle , President of 4-H British Columbia says “we are building leaders of the future with really strong communication skills to be better advocates for agriculture here in BC.” Tomorrow needs 4-H. And today, 4-H needs you. Make your tax-deductible donation at tomorrowneeds4h.ca. #4His4Me

On this #ShowYour4HColours Day🍀 I celebrate the community of volunteers, partners and supporters who believe in the power of young people to lead. We do not have a 4-H program without you - how you contribute is critically important. Thank you 🙏🏻 Here is a photo I took yesterday at the Royal, witnessing the hard work and determination of 4-H dairy members! 4-H Canada 4-H Ontario
