Subject: tag2upload should not remake the maintainer's DEP-14 tag
Date: Tue, 18 Jun 2024 11:45:59 +0100
Package: dgit-infrastructure
Version: 11.10

Observe that
  https://browse.dgit.debian.org/dgit-test-dummy.git/tag/?h=debian/1.39
is not the same as
  https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/ucgi/~ianmdlvl/git?p=dgit-test-dummy.git;a=tag;h=c61fc1c5503f4c6b8dd7a486f1704af66098d11d

This is not desirable. Nor is it necessary, because the maintainer's
DEP-14 tag is supposed to be accepted by dgit-repos.

(I don't think this is a blocker for t2u deployment, but we should fix
it before we annouce it as generally available.)

Ian.
