New restaurants and a new Wawa are coming to Bucks County, including Nifty Fifty’s, a 1950s-style diner known for its burgers and milkshakes.

Bucks County has added several new restaurants to its dining scene in December, with more ready to premier in the coming weeks, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch

Don Héctor, a Peruvian chicken restaurant, and WNB Factory, a fast-casual restaurant chain famous for its wings and burgers, opened this month at the Town Center of New Britain

Meanwhile, Nifty Fifty’s, a 1950s-style diner best known for its burgers and milkshakes, plans to expand its Bucks County presence with a second location in Fairless Hills. The chain already has a restaurant in Warminster Township

Another newcomer to the county is the latest Wawa, which will open its doors on Dec. 20, just in time for Christmas, in Warrington, near the busy intersection of Route 611 and Street Road.

In other business news, the first residents will be moving into Doylestown’s newest and largest apartment community at 333 North Broad Street this week. A section of the mixed-use development is ready to open at North Broad Street and Atkinson Drive, on the site of the former Intelligencer Newspaper building.
