The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
Must have PLC experience.
Help wanted on 1st shift (7:00am - 3:00pm) & 2nd shift (3:45pm - 11:45pm) Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:
Lay out, install, and repair all types of electrical equipment such as high tension switchboards and automatic controls
Perform all types of plant wiring including the maintenance of signal telephone or loudspeaker systems
Install and repair relay and ordinary lighting circuit jobs, push buttons controls, switches, cord sets, etc.
Must have knowledge of motors and industrial electronics
Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting
Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions for all electrically controlled equipment
Recommend and order spare parts and equipment
QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical school graduate; State apprentice program completed
Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience working as an Electrician (preferably in the Industrial environment)
Verifiable, formal training in Electrical Theory and Safety
Knowledge of PLC Programming, Troubleshooting, and Repair
Understanding of industrial motor control, AC/DC, invertor drives, holding circuits, and overload protection
Capable of troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and wiring of basic electrical components such as relays, starters, motors, drives, and switches
Must be able to read and understand electrical diagrams and schematics
Experience using common electrical tools such as Multi-Meters, Strippers/Crimpers, EMT Benders, and Threaders
Must be able to mechanically disassemble and assemble basic machine components with common hand tools
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal guidelines
Must be organized, neat, and able to work independently and as a team member
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Preferred: Knowledge of Rockwell Automation SLC500
Preferred: Certificate of competition of an apprenticeship program
Preferred: E-2 License
