The trends in device miniaturization and increased device functionality warrant an intentional focus to bring our battery innovation roadmap to device manufacturers in order to help them optimize their device functionality, both today and going forward.
The Future Forms Technical Associate Manager will be responsible for researching and understanding strategic OEMs/device categories, strengthening OEM relationships, strategies for collaboration, showcasing technology in device concepts, and influencing OEM device designs with Duracells latest battery technology.
Drive Duracell battery innovations with current and new OEMs.
Leverage consumer, device, and battery understanding to influence OEM device roadmaps.
Involves working with external suppliers to develop future device benefit possibilities that help showcase the potential of our technology platforms, and how they can change the game for the OEM.
This role requires partnership with B2B OEMs, as these OEM customers will be developing new devices that would enter the retail consumer and professional market.
Work with external vendors to develop device concepts that are enhanced by Duracell’s battery innovation, using current knowledge of device trends, technology, and consumer benefits.
Build out device technology roadmap / trends that demonstrate where markets are going, which ones to enter and how Turbine technology enables them.
Identify further white space for future business/battery development.
Enable OEMs to leverage KDLNO innovations into their new and existing devices to drive greater end-user delight.
Brainstorm and consult with them on possibilities for their devices.
Drive PODs such as sustainability to help enable OEM customers carbon footprint goals.
Engage and support in trade shows to drive Duracell innovation awareness and stay on top of latest device, component, and battery innovations.
Lead the testing of batteries and devices (at plants and labs) along with consolidating of information to be shared with customers.
Including leading work on regulatory requirements, customer documentation, datasheets, etc.
Oversite of research firms’ evaluation of markets/companies/regulations, including strategies to partner with OEMs and Insurance companies.
Regular travel as required to Bethel innovation center, OEMs, vendors, and trade shows.

Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred, but other Engineering and Science degrees may be considered.
Self-starter, fast learner, and collaborative.
Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
Understanding of device and battery technology.
Demonstrated track record leading, driving, and delivering results.
Excellent researching capability, both quantitative and consumer qualitative.
Analytical thinking.
