The Market Vice President of the Medical Group leads and is accountable for Medical Group operations for the Front Range and Western Colorado Market working in a “dyad” leadership team structure with the Market Vice President/Associate Chief Medical Officer for the Front Range and Western Colorado Market.
The VP will implement and execute operational and financial management for their market, as well as oversee performance in all fundamentals of extraordinary care (i.
e.
, Safety, Quality, Experience, Equity, Access, Caregiver Engagement, Stewardship, and Growth).

This is an exempt, full-time position with a compensation range of $ 272,168 - $299,998 annually and as determined by prior years of relevant experience .
The role is based in Broomfield, CO with regular travel to Grand Junction, CO.
In addition to the annual salary, to show our commitment to you and assist with your transition into our organization, we may offer a sign-on and relocation bonus when applicable.
With this position, you are eligible to participate in the Annual Pay for Performance (AP4P) Plan.
This plan enables Intermountain Health to provide leaders with an additional performance compensation opportunity.
The AP4P award opportunities are calculated as a percentage of your base salary.
Awards are paid out based on attainment of selected Board-approved goals.

In coordination with other market leaders in the region, the Market Vice President develops, proposes, and manages operational and capital budgets, and is the accountable leader for the profit and loss financial performance of the Medical Group assets of the market.
The Market VP is responsible for developing the Medical Group market vision and operating plans in coordination with the Medical Group Region VP and other Medical Group Market leaders in the Peaks Region.
As the Market Medical Group Vice President, you will: Deploy and execute Medical Group operational, quality, experience, and safety-related standards across all Service Lines.
Track and manage performance against those standards, along with ensuring alignment of medical group and all care delivery entities within the market.
Partner and closely collaborate with hospital caresite presidents and market presidents to support care delivery model in communities within market.
Collaborate closely with Physician, APP and Nursing Leadership.
Champion a singular operating company model with a focus on elimination of unwarranted clinical and operational variation.
Effectively use and role model Intermountain operating model to measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and actively lead / participate in improvement initiatives across all fundamentals of extraordinary care.
In conjunction with regional and enterprise leadership, the Market VP is responsible for leadership development and mentoring of future Intermountain Medical Group leaders.
Lead provider and caregiver engagement and experience.
Drive a culture of patient and caregiver safety.
Promote a culture that reflects Intermountain's values and patient/consumer-centricity.
Ensure effective communication with physicians, leaders, and all caregivers.
Partner with other leaders regarding physician, APP and other caregiver performance management.
Cultivate strong relationships and connections with community leaders and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements Master's Degree in healthcare or business administration (or related field).
Degree must be obtained from an accredited institution.
Education is verified Seven years progressive healthcare leadership or practice management experience.
Demonstrated sound financial and quantitative analytical skills, excellent diplomacy and persuasive abilities, and strong communications skills (written and verbal).
Experience in managing large groups of multi-site practices and experience opening new ambulatory sites.
Proficiency with word processing and worksheet software.
Demonstrated leadership skills to include communication, professional ethics, and ability inspire and motivate others.
Preferred Qualifications Highly prefer 5+ years of senior leadership experience in an ambulatory setting Ambulatory care management experience within a Medical Group setting.
Experience managing risk payment models.
