As the Medical Director of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical and psychiatric care of our 24-bed facility in Boulder, CO.
You will supervise and support the medical/psychiatric providers and staff, ensuring that they deliver high-quality care in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
You will also contribute to the treatment process by providing direct patient care, conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing medications, and participating in treatment planning and review.

What You’ll Do As the medical director of a teen residential treatment facility, you will provide supervision and support to a team of medical and psychiatric professionals who are dedicated to helping young people with primary mental health and mood disorders.
You will ensure the delivery of high-quality care in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements, by providing direct patient care, conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing medications, and participating in treatment planning.
You will manage the facility’s budget, review, and update policies, and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines, and ensure that the facility meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
You will play a key role in helping young people heal, grow, and thrive by ensuring that they receive timely and personalized treatment that addresses their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
Who You Are Board Certified Psychiatrist with eligibility to practice in Colorado.
Whether you’re already licensed or willing to obtain licensure in Colorado, we welcome your expertise at Sandstone Care.
You have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, working with adolescents aged 13 to 17, in a residential treatment setting.
You have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
