Price is firm.
Cash only, pick up in Medford.
I was originally selling a receiver with this speaker system, but that has sold separately, that's why some of the pictures look a bit strange, I blanked it out.
Price has been adjusted down accordingly.
This listing is for the 5.
1 speaker system only (5 matched speakers and a subwoofer).
If you need a receiver, I have several others available, along with high end speaker/subwoofer cables, etc.
Can put together a package deal.
This is one of the systems I really do not want to part with, exceptionally nice and in nearly perfect condition (borderline like new, would have to look very close to find any tiny signs that it has been used).
The gloss piano black finish on the speakers, something that commonly gets scratched easily, is completely flawless.
Low hours.
Unfortunately I don't have a space to use it right now due to renovations, and I don't want it to keep sitting in a box, but I won't be heartbroken if it doesn't sell either.

I'm selling off a fairly large personal collection of stereo and home theater stuff.
I am working on getting pictures and listing everything, but if there is something you're looking for, let me know.
I have lots of speakers (from tiny 5.
1 setups to large towers), subwoofers, receivers, preamps, amplifiers, and some accessories like stands, wall mounts, cables, speaker wire, etc.
Can put together a package deal on a full system.
This speaker system retailed for $1200 originally and is in like new condition.

I've set up many 5.
1 speaker setups for people, including the smaller versions of this system, and several excellent sets from Energy.
These surpass them all in every way, simply because they are bigger and can put out more sound and more bass, so they rely less on the subwoofer (allowing it to focus on the lower frequencies it is designed for).
With speakers, bigger is almost always better, and these are a good balance between full size speakers and the tiny ones usually in these types of systems.
Many technologies and designs from their top of the line speakers are incorporated into these.
-4x ProMonitor 800 speakers.
These are larger than the typical 5.
1 "micro" or "mini" speakers included in other sets like this, more the size of small bookshelf speakers (about 8" high and 5" wide).
Each has a 4.
5" woofer, 1" pure aluminum tweeter with waveguide to eliminate any harshness or directionality, and a 4.
5" upward facing passive radiator.
The passive radiator provides a lot of extra bass and midbass, and facing upward helps provide more room filling sound.
Basically it does what a bass port does (increase bass output) but without losing the accuracy of a sealed speaker.
The woofers also use their BDSS dual surround system found on many of their top of the line speakers, which provides much more controlled and accurate, clear sound.
Gold plated 5-way binding posts.
-ProCenter 1000 Center Channel.
Has two of the same 4.
5" BDSS woofers, the same 1" pure aluminum tweeter, and two sideways firing 4.
5" passive radiators.
Perfectly matched to the other speakers, and also has gold plated 5-way binding posts.
The center channel is extremely important for movie watching as all the dialog comes through it.
This one will not disappoint, it is about double the size of the satellites, but wide instead of tall, so easy to place below the TV or mount to the wall above or below it.
-All 5 can be hung from the "keyhole" mounts or attached to stands or wall mounts via threaded holes on the back (the threaded holes are covered in the pictures with the original plastic inserts to hide them when not used).
They can also be set on a shelf, the 4 satellites have 3 narrow feet to isolate them from whatever they're set on, and the center channel has an adjustable foot on the back so you can set the angle exactly how you want it.
-ProSub 800 Subwoofer which has an 8" long throw front firing woofer, 8" downward firing passive radiator (same benefits as the radiators in the speakers, output of a larger or ported sub from a smaller, more clear and accurate one), 300 watt high current amplifier, variable crossover and side mounted level control.
4 isolating feet to prevent vibration from transferring to the floor.
Auto on/off, and line and speaker level inputs.
Internally the 8" sub has a beefy, rigid basket (metal frame) and oversized magnet so it can handle all the power.
The cabinet is reinforced and designed to have no resonance (unwanted noise/internal echo).
Larger (and thus louder and deeper bass) than a typical "cube" sub usually included in a 5.
1 system but that extra space is in the depth, not the height and width, so still pretty low profile and easy to place.
The whole speaker system has a frequency response of 20 to 30,000hz (more than the human ear can hear).
