edu/hr/availablepositions/ *Job Description:* Bunker Hill Community College seeks a versatile and motivated technical/functional Business Analyst/Programmer with Ellucian Colleague experience.
Reporting to the Deans of Enrollment Management and LifeMap and working closely with the Academic Records and Information Technology departments, the Business Analyst/Programmer will work as an integral member of the Enrollment Services team to support the technological needs of the Admissions and Recruitment Office, Advising and LifeMap (transfer and career services) department and Assessment and Testing Center.
The Business Analyst assists with managing online services and other technological resources that integrate with Colleague, TargetX, and other third-party service integrations that promote student success.
This is a hybrid position that requires both in person and remote work.
The final schedule will be determined by the direct supervisor.
*Job Duties:* * Assist with the management of technology for all enrollment services offices reporting to the Dean of Enrollment Management and LifeMap.
The key functions include technological systems development, implementation and maintenance, including the design and programming of online services and the integration of systems with Colleague * Support and extract data from various systems including Informer, SQL, Zogotech and TargetX (CRM) * Develop forms and workflows using SoftDocs to support business processes within enrollment management departments * Work closely with multiple offices including the Information Technology (IT) department to design technology solutions and integrations * Understand basic Colleague component architecture relationship with data (table structures) and key touch points between modules * Understand available Colleague functionality.
Advise on solutions while working closely with IT staff to understand impact on overall system * In consultation with enrollment managers and end users, evaluate and recommend software solutions while establishing and maintaining third-party vendor relationships * Provide end user instruction, develop standard operating procedures, provide support and troubleshooting to implement systems and to resolve application issues * Maintain current understanding of all relevant software and hardware, including necessary data interfaces * Manage the institutional virtual chat system, GECKO and provide training support to student facing departments that use the system * Collaborate with the Manager of Enrollment Technology to support the transfer of data between the Admissions customer relationship management (CRM)Enroll system, Salesforce/TargetX and our student information system, Colleague * Assist in the management of the CRM data integration system, Axiom * Prepare and maintain documentation and training materials * Perform other duties as assigned by the Deans of Enrollment Management *Requirements:* * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent area of study * 5 or more years of applications systems development experience * Experience with Ellucian Colleague, Banner or other higher education student information system * Experience using Targetx or similar CRM system * Experience successfully integrating technology * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail * Project management experience; experience developing and facilitating training sessions on systems or processes * Excellent, demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; * Proficiency in student information systems and technology as well as Microsoft Office Suite * Ability to effectively prioritize tasks * Ability to work some evenings and weekends during the peak enrollment periods in August and January.
*Preferred Qualifications:* * Master's Degree in computer science or equivalent area of study * Experience working at a Community College * Familiarity with .
NET framework and Sharepoint helpful * Development experience with Envision, and Unidata * SQL preferred *Additional Information:* *Salary Range: $95,000-$105,000.
Actual salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
