Early morning sunlight is beating down
Upon the barren trees and the frozen ground
It’s a new day and yet I feel the same
Once again I do what I have done for years
Trying to forget and fighting back the tears
It’s a new day and yet I feel the same
And I just can’t help but wonder (As tomorrow fades away)
Why this is pulling me down (And yesterday remains)
I can’t pretend for much longer (And I know I’m not the same)
Where can the answers be found?
It all just seem so far away…
It doesn’t feel right, how can it be right
Don’t wanna be alone and yet I’m drawn away by something I can’t explain
It doesn’t feel right, if this is real life
How can this be my home when I am drawn away by something I can’t explain
My heart aches for these answers that I pray exist
Shadowed by the comfort of ignorance
Do I belong here or am I meant for more
It is all so big and I am so small
If it’s possible to understand it all
Why do I stay here, what am I waiting for
And the feeling still remains…
It doesn’t feel right, how can it be right
Don’t wanna be alone and yet I’m drawn away by something I can’t explain
It doesn’t feel right, if this is real life
How can this be my home when I am drawn away by something I can’t explain
And I just can’t help but wonder (as tomorrow fades away)
Why this is pulling me down (and yesterday remains)
I can’t pretend for much longer (and I know I’m not the same)
Where can the answers be found
So far away…
It may not feel right, but this is our life
And we are not alone though we are drawn away by something I can’t explain
It doesn’t feel right, but this is our fight
And we will carry on because we long to know the things that we can’t explain
It may not feel right, but this is our life
And we are not alone though we are drawn away by something I can’t explain
It doesn’t feel right, but this is our fight
And we will carry on because we long to know the things that we can’t explain
It all just seems so far away…

I think this compilation is honestly top 3 ponies at dawn for me, it has such great tracks and harmony. Aurelleah has always been one of my favorite artists, and Moving on from Yesterday is such a beautiful track, it always inspires hope for the future and a sense of melancholy admiration for my past mistakes.
