Day 50 of #100DaysOfCodeChallenge 🌟 #gvishwananthanchallenge Today, I tackled an interesting problem involving the sliding window technique. Q. Number of Substrings Containing All Three Characters: My approach focused on efficiently counting substrings with exactly 'k' distinct characters. Here's how I broke it down: Step 1: I used a hashmap to track character frequencies in the current window. Step 2: Adjusted the window's boundaries whenever there were more than 'k' distinct characters. Step 3: Calculated the number of valid substrings and used the difference between "at most k" and "at most (k-1)" substrings to get the exact count. #vitbhopallions

Day 51/100 of 100DaysOfCode #GvishwananthanChallenge Today, I worked in HashMap in C++ from scratch, focusing on making operations like put, get, and remove efficient and intuitive. Here’s a breakdown of the approach: Steps to Implement MyHashMap: 1. Initialization: - Created an array of size 1,000,001 to store values, with all initial values set to -1 to indicate empty slots. 2. Put Operation: - Directly stored the value at the given key index in constant time. 3. Get Operation: - Retrieved the value at the specified key index, returning -1 if the key hasn’t been set. 4. Remove Operation: - Reset the value at the key index back to -1 to mark it as removed. #vitbhopallions

I began my journey in front-end development by learning HTML and CSS. Soon after, I transitioned to working on projects in React JS. Initially, I was enthusiastic, but I quickly found the work repetitive after completing just five projects. My brother, Muzammil T., suggested that I try React Native for a change of pace, as it would be slightly different from what I had been doing on the web. Despite continuing with web development, I decided to explore this new area. At first, I struggled with generating project ideas and figuring out how to start developing them. However, my internship at Prodigy InfoTech provided me with multiple ideas. The time constraints of the internship pushed me to focus and work efficiently. With my prior experience in React JS and JavaScript, I was able to create my first Android project, a "Simple Calculator," using React Native in just two days. I found Android development to be far more engaging and dynamic compared to web development. Developing this project wasn't without its challenges. I had to familiarize myself with the differences between web and mobile development, particularly in handling touch interfaces and optimizing performance for mobile devices.
