This meeting was an important milestone. We were glad to participate in the dialogue on behalf of the automotive manufacturers together with the member states representatives and the stakeholder communities from CCAM Association, Conference of European Directors of Roads (CEDR), ERTICO - ITS Europe, CLEPA - European Association of Automotive Suppliers Europe is undergoing a significant transformation, moving towards sustainability and embracing a major digital shift. Connected and automated vehicles are part of the solution, promising to revolutionise our sector by lowering transport costs, reducing environmental impact, increasing safety and enhancing working conditions. To make this a reality, Europe needs the right enabling conditions, including -Adopting pan-European rules on testing supporting type approval; -Ensuring EU road infrastructure supports high-level connected and automated driving; -Aligning private and public investments for R&D in connected and automated driving technologies to drive standardisation. By embracing this technology, Europe can lead in this exciting field. Now is the time to drive progress in connected and automated driving technologies and move into a new era of mobility.

The CAR 2 CAR Communication Consortium is proud to announce the publication of an updated version of it's Basic System Profile, the specification that provides V2X interoperability for Europe. With the new version 1.6.6 of the Basic System Profile ( https://lnkd.in/eR9GHUFb ), CAR 2 CAR Communication Consortium now also provide a set of documents of conformance assessment and declaration of conformity. Lancia Introduces the Electrically Powered Ypsilon HF Follow me for more technical data :https://lnkd.in/evN3jc94 Stellantis brand Lancia has announced the upcoming launch of the Ypsilon HF, an electrified high-performance model, set to debut in May 2025. The Ypsilon HF will deliver an impressive 177 kW, making it the most powerful variant in the Ypsilon lineup. This model heralds a new era of high-performance vehicles from Lancia, all of which will feature the HF designation. The Lancia Ypsilon, a small car built on the Stellantis e-CMP platform, shares production lines in Spain with its sister models, the Peugeot e-208 and Opel Corsa Electric. It utilizes a 115 kW electric motor paired with a 54 kWh battery. In contrast, the Ypsilon HF will offer a more robust 177 kW, achieved through a more powerful version of the Stellantis-Nidec electric motor on the front axle, without all-wheel drive. Performance-wise, the Ypsilon HF can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just 5.8 seconds. Beyond its powerful drive, the HF variant features a lowered chassis, widened track, and a muscular body design inspired by Lancia's iconic historical cars. Pricing details for the Ypsilon HF are not yet available, but its launch is scheduled for around May 2025. The standard Ypsilon is currently available in Italy starting from 34,900 euros, with international market plans yet to be announced. Additionally, Lancia is planning HF versions of the upcoming Gamma and Delta series. While these may not be purely electric, the electric Ypsilon HF will be joined by the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF, a rally car powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine.
