Made download counter nullable and hide it in the catalog if it is 'null' or '0' (#137). A complex interaction conjured with the magic of CSS! When we think of interactive web elements that trigger reactions in neighbouring components, the default assumption is often that JavaScript is necessary. But what if we tell you that you can achieve these effects with 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗦𝗦? Here's a small experiment our awesome developer, Rajashri Brahma, has been working on—interactive circles that dynamically expand, shrink, change color, and even reveal hidden content, all through hover interactions. And the best part? This is done entirely with CSS, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁. With a clever combination of the adjacent sibling selector (+ *) and the :𝗵𝗮𝘀() pseudo-class, we're able to make neighboring elements respond to hover events seamlessly. In this example: • Hovering over one circle adjusts the width and border-radius of neighboring elements, creating a shrinking and expanding effect. • The :𝗵𝗮𝘀() function allows us to detect hover states on adjacent elements and trigger dynamic styling changes accordingly. This approach proves that CSS alone can powerfully handle complex interactions, previously thought to require JavaScript. It’s efficient, elegant, and keeps your codebase lean.
