Sharing Is Caring One of the past weekends, TechLaB sponsored and participated in the charity event Stand Up Against Cancer, all profit of which is donated to cancer research. Participants cycle 1.000 km over 4 days across Belgium, EU. Our beloved clients even sponsored as well, for which we are eternally grateful. A little shy of 7 million € was raised by the event to fund research of cancer in which Big Pharma does not invest.   Importantly, this gig is not about who rides 1, 2, or all days. Or the full 1,000km and at what average speed. It's about bringing people together who desire to do something for others, and jointly support scientific research. It is also a lesson in humility in the face of so many cancer patients who are fighting or have fought fiercely against this terrible disease. And the untold tragedy and grief it creates. Saddle-, foot-, muscle- and other pain are then totally insignificant. But above all, despite the aforementioned heavily charged theme, these are 4 days in which people are extremely friendly, polite, helpful, and respectful of each other. Mankind can be made.
